The procedure is highly customized to fit the needs of every patient. The general steps to operation involve incisions made along the breast where surplus skin is removed. Many women can return to work within seven days and resume regular activities in about three to four weeks. Strenuous activity, such as exercise and sexual intercourse, should be avoided for 2-6 weeks after your breast lift. Patients are advised to sleep on their backs to facilitate the healing process further.
