Dr. Paul received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Maryland. He completed surgical training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and general and plastic surgery training at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has held numerous prestigious leadership positions, including President of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Paul has also served as Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, where he participated in the training and education of future plastic surgeons.
An internationally recognized educator and lecturer, Dr. Paul has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has taught aesthetic surgical techniques to physicians around the world.
