Introducing the Non-Surgical Stem Cell Facelift
The non-surgical Stem Cell Facelift offers a revolutionary approach to facial rejuvenation, providing a three-dimensional lift without the need for surgery, incisions, or scarring.

The Stem Cell Facelift focuses on restoring lost volume, a key factor that contributes to sagging skin and a tired appearance over time. By replenishing volume in strategic areas and stimulating the production of essential components like collagen and elastin, delivering a natural-looking lift without altering the inherent structure of your face.

About The Stem Cell Facelift

In the quest for youthful and vibrant skin, advancements in science and medicine have paved the way for innovative techniques. Among these breakthroughs, the Stem Cell Facelift has emerged as a revolutionary approach to facial rejuvenation. Harnessing the remarkable potential of stem cells, this procedure offers a transformative solution for individuals seeking a more youthful appearance.

The Stem Cell Facelift taps into the body’s natural healing capabilities by utilizing stem cells to stimulate tissue regeneration and restore a youthful complexion from within. The procedure can address multiple areas of the face simultaneously, including the:

  • Forehead
  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Temples
  • Cheeks
  • Laugh lines
  • Lips
  • Jowls
  • Chin

It does so through a process called fat transfer in which Dr. Ahmed takes fat from a donor site on the body and fills in the deficient areas using the patient’s own fat cells. During the fat transfer process, excess fat is carefully extracted from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, or hips using a gentle liposuction technique. The harvested fat is then purified and prepared for reinjection. Dr. Ahmed precisely injects the purified fat into targeted regions, sculpting and augmenting as needed to achieve the desired youthful look.

What are Stem Cells?

Stem cells serve as the building blocks for the development, growth, and repair of our tissues and organs. They are characterized by two key properties:

  • Self-renewal – Stem cells can divide and replicate themselves, generating more stem cells. This property allows them to maintain a pool of undifferentiated cells in the body.
  • Differentiation: Stem cells can differentiate into specialized cells with distinct functions. They can give rise to cells of various tissue types, such as muscle, nerve, blood, bone, and many others.

Autologous cells and growth factors derived from the body have been scientifically recognized as a legitimate and effective approach for repairing and regenerating damaged tissues. [1] The stem cells used in the Stem Cell Facelift are derived from the patient (autologous), known as adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC). When these stem cells are used in skin rejuvenation and wrinkle filling, it leverages their paracrine and secretory effects to activate fibroblasts and stimulate collagen synthesis in the surrounding tissue. [2][3] It’s a lot to take in, right? Basically, by using stem cells, we can stimulate the skin to produce more collagen, which can help reduce wrinkles and make the skin look younger and healthier.

What are the Benefits of a Stem Cell Facelift?

Unlike traditional facelift surgeries that involve incisions and significant downtime, the Stem Cell Facelift is a non-surgical procedure. It avoids the risks, scarring, and lengthy recovery associated with surgery, making it a safer and less invasive option. Compared to surgical facelift procedures, the Stem Cell Facelift typically involves minimal downtime. Patients can typically resume their daily activities relatively quickly, with less interruption to their normal routines. Furthermore, by utilizing the patient’s own fat cells and stimulating collagen production, the procedure can enhance facial features in a way that blends seamlessly with the patient’s natural beauty.

The regenerative properties of stem cells contribute to long-lasting outcomes. The transferred fat cells have the potential to integrate and survive in the treated areas, providing sustained volume and rejuvenation over time. Numerous published studies have reported varying rates of volume retention following implantation. Some studies indicate a retention range of 25% to 50% of the implanted volume, while others have shown higher rates of retention, ranging from 80% to 90%. [4] The patient’s retention rate varies depending on factors like the surgeons’s skill, the quality of the transferred fat, and the processing technique. Dr. Ahmed often overfills to compensate for the loss of some transferred cells ensuring high patient satisfaction.

Ideal Candidates

The procedure is particularly suitable for those experiencing volume loss in the face, resulting in

  • Sagging skin
  • Hollowed cheeks
  • A tired appearance

Patients with scarring can also benefit from the plumping effects of fat transfer, which can help the residual scarred skin fade over time. Candidates for the Stem Cell Facelift should be in good overall health and have realistic expectations about what the procedure can do to combat the signs of aging.

Autologous fat grafting may not be recommended in certain cases, such as when there may be future instability in the volume of the transferred fat due to planned weight loss or a history of weight fluctuation. Additionally, if the patient has experienced complete or subtotal resorption of previously grafted fat, Dr. Ahmed may recommend a different procedure.

How to Prepare for Fat Transfer

Patients will need to stop taking aspirin or NSAIDS leading up to their appointment. Before the procedure, Dr. Ahmed will select suitable fat donor sites for the patient, considering factors like availability and compatibility. The recipient site, where the fat will be transferred, will be carefully examined to determine the amount of fat required for the procedure. In some cases, men may need to have facial hair shaved for better visibility during the procedure.

The Stem Cell Facelift Procedure

To begin the procedure, the patient is made comfortable and any donor sites and numbed with local anesthetic – there is no need for general anesthesia. Fat is then retrieved from these sites. A wetting solution containing saline, lidocaine, and epinephrine is infiltrated into the donor area; this is tumescent liposuction.

After allowing the anesthetic to take effect, a small incision is made, and the fat harvesting cannula is inserted to gently remove the fat cells. The donor fat is then subjected to a few minutes of centrifugation resulting in condensed fat. The harvested fat is cleaned and refined. Once cleaned, the fat is ready for transfer into syringes.

The injections are performed “3-dimensionally” along different vectors and levels for optimal aesthetic results.

Recovery After Stem Cell Facelift

Wearing a compression garment post-procedure is important. It helps to prevent volume loss by stabilizing the grafted fat and reducing mobility. The patient must refrain from massaging the grafted area during the early post-treatment phase to avoid disrupting the fat graft.

A warm compress can improve blood flow, but it may increase edema (swelling), so caution is advised. Using a cool compress can help reduce swelling, but extremely cold compresses should be avoided to minimize the risk of compromising the graft.

What are the Results of a Stem Cell Facelift?

Some common outcomes of the Stem Cell Facelift include

  • A more youthful and rejuvenated appearance
  • Improved skin texture and tone
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
  • Increased facial volume
  • Enhanced overall facial harmony

The procedure’s ability to stimulate collagen synthesis can further enhance skin elasticity and firmness.
